Elective Courses

Professional Elective Courses (minimum of 10 credits):

  • The program offers professional elective courses in seven major domains, including Policy, Institutional Regulations and Evaluation, Aging Health and Long-term Care, Community Health Promotion and Rehabilitation, Intelligent Technology Information and Assistive Devices, Organizational Operations and Management, Social Humanities and Care, and Research Methods.

  • Students may choose at least 10 credits of courses based on their professional background and interests. To strengthen their humanities education, they should select at least one course from the Social Humanities and Care category.

  • Students may also take courses from other departments or institutions, subject to approval by the program. Whether these credits count towards the program's credit requirements will be determined by the program. Course selection within the university is based on the course offerings announced by the Office of Academic Affairs each semester.
